Submitting personal data is voluntary, but some information is necessary in order to register for Silvensa 2026, take part in activities, use the contact form, and receive event information.

The data controller for Silvensa 2026 is:

Mensa Norway
Address: Postboks 2438 Solli, 0201 OSLO
Email: administrasjon@mensa.no

We process personal data in order to organise Silvensa 2026. This may include registration, payment administration, activity sign-ups, participant lists, communication with participants, dietary or accessibility needs, age-restricted activities, and practical event planning.

The personal data we process may include name, contact information, country, Mensa membership or guest status, ticket information, activity choices, payment status, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and messages sent through the website or email.

The legal basis for processing is mainly that it is necessary to organise and deliver the event you have registered for. In some cases, we may also process data based on your consent, for example if you choose to receive information about future Silvensa events.

We may share necessary personal data with trusted service providers, such as ticketing systems, payment providers, IT providers, venues, restaurants, activity providers, and event volunteers. They will only receive the information needed to provide their service or help organise the event.

We will keep personal data only as long as necessary for event administration, accounting, legal obligations, and possible follow-up after the event. Email addresses used for information about future Silvensa events will be kept until you withdraw your consent or ask to be removed.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

To exercise your rights, or if you have questions about how your data is used, please contact us at:

2026@silvensa.org

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet.
